In 'Apocalypse Rising', stardate 50013.9, Sisko and an away team alter themselves surgically to look like Klingons and try to plot an assassination of a founder masquerading as a high-ranking Klingon. In 'The Ship', stardate 50049.3, a salvage mission goes awry when Sisko and his away team become involved in a game of cat and mouse with a Jem'Hadar ship. In 'Looking for Par'mach in All the Wrong Places', stardate 50061.2, Quark's Klingon ex-wife turns up at the station for his help in her finances. He soon finds himself falling for her again, as does Worf who nevertheless helps Quark to woo her. In 'Nor the Battle to the Strong', stardate 50098.7, Bashir and Jake come across a Starfleet colony in the midst of war with the Klingons. Jake soon finds that the reality of war is far from exciting and that there is a fine line between cowardice and bravery. In 'The Assignment', stardate 50124.3, Keiko returns from Bajor seemingly possessed by a non-corporeal alien.The alien then threatens to kill Keiko if Chief O'Brien fails to sabotage the station. In 'Trials and Tribble-ations', stardate 4523.7, Sisko, Dax, Odo, Worf, Bashir and O'Brien find themselves thrown back in time to a point where Kirk and the original Enterprise crew are having a little trouble with some Klingons and a lot of furry little squeaks. This show is Deep Space Nine's contribution to the 30th Anniversary celebrations, and features similar special effects as were used in 'Forrest Gump' to put the space station crew in the same scenes as the original cast. In 'Let He Who is Without Sin', stardate 50136.7, Worf and Dax plan a trip to Risa for a vacation, but are joined by Bashir, Leeta and Quark. To make matters worse for Worf, whose temper is at breaking point, he becomes involved with a group who are planning to destroy Risa. In 'Things Past', stardate 50144.5, Sisko, Dax, Odo and Garak are plunged into a mysterious coma in which they believe they are Bajoran slaves during the occupation. In 'The Ascent', stardate 50245.2, Odo and Quark become stranded on an inhospitable planet. Unfortunately, they are out of contact with the station and must climb an impossible peak to get a signal through. In 'Rapture', stardate 50378.9, Captain Sisko becomes obsessed with unravelling the mysteries behind some ancient Bajoran heiroglyphics. In his investigations he suffers some effects on his brain that may prove to be fatal. In 'The Ascent', stardate 50245.2, Odo and Quark become stranded on an inhospitable planet. Unfortunately, they are out of contact with the station and must climb an impossible peak to get a signal through. In 'Rapture', stardate 50378.9, Captain Sisko becomes obsessed with unravelling the mysteries behind some ancient Bajoran heiroglyphics. In his investigations he suffers some effects on his brain that may prove to be fatal. In 'The Darkness and the Light', stardate 50416.2, Major Kira believes that she is in line to be murdered by a serial killer who is preying on former members of her old resistance cell. At the same time, she is only a matter of weeks away from giving birth to the O'Briens' baby. In 'The Begotten', stardate 50430.1, Quark sells Odo a baby Changeling and Odo is determined to help it grow and develop. The arrival on the station of Doctor Mora Pol, the Bajoran who raised Odo, makes the atmosphere a little tense. Meanwhile, the final preparations are made for the birth of the new O'Brien. In 'For the Uniform', stardate 50485.2, Captain Sisko closes in on the Starfleet Officer turned Maquis rebel, Eddington. Frustrated by the protocols of Starfleet, Sisko may have to bend the rules to catch his nemesis. In 'In Purgatory's Shadow', stardate 50560.1, an SOS message from the Gamma Quadrant leads Garak and Worf on a reconnaissance mission in Dominion space. At the same time, Alpha Quadrant politics are thrown into turmoil and the station faces a nerve-wracking future, with a Changeling threat and the possibility of an attack by the massed fleets of the Jem'Hadar. In 'By Inferno's Light', the concluding part of the two part story, the crew of DS9 watch helplessly as their plan to stop the invading Jem'Hadar ships by collapsing the wormhole is thwarted. Meanwhile Worf, Bashir and Garak search for a way to escape the Dominion prison camp in the Gamma Quadrant. In 'Doctor Bashir, I Presume', stardate 50590.1, Doctor Lewis Zimmerman (the inventor of the Emergency Holographic Doctor in 'Star Trek Voyager') visits the station intending to use Doctor Bashir as a basis for a new model of his invention. When Bashir's parents arrive, Zimmerman's digging reveals certain revelations that would jeopardise Bashir's Starfleet career. In 'A Simple Investigation', stardate 50626.6, a routine investigation for Odo escalates into a larger conspiracy theory, and a new-found friend of the security chief's finds her life in danger. In 'Business as Usual', stardate 50675.5, Quark worries that he may lose his bar until his arms-dealing cousin offers him a way out. However, this means losing his friends and sacrificing his conscience. In 'Ties of Blood and Wine', stardate 50689.7, Kira receives a visitor aboard the station - the leader of the old Cardassian resistance group. Her happiness is shattered when she discovers that not only is he suffering from an incurable disease, he is also not the heroic figure that she always believed him to be. In 'Ferengi Love Songs', stardate 50701.2, Quark leaves the station and travels to his homeworld when his bar is shut down. Seeking solace from his mother, he discovers that she is more interested in the Grand Nagus. In 'Soldiers of the Empire', Worf is asked to become First Officer on a Klingon Bird of Prey. When he arrives he finds the crew dispirited and treasonous and realises that the only way to restore order is to kill the captain - one General Martok. In 'Children of Time', the crew of the Defiant discover a planet inhabited by their direct descendants. It seems that an old temporal accident has caused the incident, and the crew have to decide whether to mend the temporal rift and wipe out their descendants or relive the accident, leaving themselves stranded 200 years in the past. There must be some other way, captain. In 'Blaze of Glory', Sisko has to ally himself with his old nemesis Michael Eddington to stop a Maquis plan from starting all out war with the Dominion and the Cardassians. The problem is that Eddington is more intent on taking revenge on the man who put him behind bars. In 'Empok Nor', O'Brien, Garak, Cadet Nog and a team of three engineers travel to DS9's abandoned sister station to salvage parts. Their arrival reactivates a Cardassian hit squad who have had a xenophobic hatred instilled in them. One by one the Starfleet crew are eliminated as a deadly game of cat and mouse begins. In 'In the Cards', the Dominion attempt to sign a treaty with Bajor that will upset the power balance in the Alpha Quadrant. Meanwhile Jake and Nog become involved with an unscrupulous scientist. In the cliff-hanging season finale, 'Call to Arms', Sisko decides to mine the entrance to the wormhole to stem the build-up of Jem'Hadar troops in Cardassian space. He knows that this will lead to a conflict, and soon the station is under attack from a huge military force, with no-one sure as to whether Starfleet has any tricks up its sleeves.
