Scholastic Literacy Place Volume 1 is a literacy-at-work book. There are three units: Snapshots, Super Solvers and Lights! Camera! Action! In the Snapshots section students will learn Phonics, which includes vowels, 3-letter blends final e, phonics s/c/j/g. In Unit 2 Super Solvers student will learn Phonics: r-controlled vowel ar/long a, e and o and in Unit 3, Lights! Camera! Action!, students will learn the remaining phonics sounds.
