Something awful is happening in the Realm: a plague of small, flying creatures with mischievous pointed faces, called Peskies, are eating away all the magic. the only way to save the Realm is to compose a special brew made from the petals of a sky-mirror flower. together with Maybelle, Giff and Patrice, Jessie sets off on the Ribbon Road to Dally Glade to find the five-petalled daisy for the Peskie spell. But once they return safely with the flower something goes wrong, the spell doesn't work and it is finally Jessie who unravels the mystery.
