Alberto Manguel is the author of "A Short History of Reading" and co-author of "The Dictionary of Imaginary Places". He has edited several collections, among them "Black Water"; "The Anthology of Fantastic Literature" and "The Gates of Paradise: the Anthology of Erotic Short Fiction". He has also authored, for Bayeux Arts, "Kipling: A Brief Biography".
