The APA Psychotherapy Videotape Series lets you watch some of the country's top psychotherapists in unscripted, unrehearsed, and wholly spontaneous sessions, demonstrating the techniques and interventions that spring from different orientations. Each tape in the series features a distinguished psychotherapist and a professional actor portraying an actual client. The scene is natural, completely improvised, lasts about 40 to 45 minutes, and represents the third or fourth session in an ongoing course of therapy.
