Exciting Holiness: Collects and Readings for the Festivals and Lesser Festivals of the Calendars of the Church of England, the Church of Ireland, the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Church in Wales

Common Worship reintroduced the Anglican Church to its saints - those 232 men and women whose examples excite others to holy living and to whom a date in the calendar is designated for their remembrance each year. It had already sold more than 10,000 copies when, lacking an equivalent liturgical resource for the extra saints days' in the Celtic calendars, the Church of Ireland, the Episcopal Church of Scotland and the Church in Wales requested an expanded version to included additional prayers and readings for many locally celebrated saints who shaped the faith in these islands. Now reissued by popular demand in a more convenient smaller format, here is a complete resource for Eucharistic worship on all festivals and feast days. It remains the only volume of its kind, providing prayers and Scripture readings for each day of the calendars of four national Anglican provinces. It has now been updated to include five additional commemorations added to the Church of England’s calendar.
