Peter Fischli, David Weiss

Summary: The Swiss artist duo Peter Fischli (* 1952 in Zurich) and David Weiss (born 1946 in Zurich) worked together since 1979 and in use in the work of a wide range of artistic expression. The publication presents sculptures, installations, photographs and films of artists from the past 25 years. It is apparent irrelevancies and philosophical questions of human existence, they inspire their ironic cunning work. Already in their first collaborative work, the photo cycle Sausage Series (1980), it seems this way to be mapped out. Sausages and sausage slices in the wildest scenes of actors in cinematic sets. In her installation question projection (1981-2002), they confront the viewer with poetic everyday issues such as: Finding "me luck?" Exhibition: Goetz Collection, Munich (8.11.2010-26.2.2011).
