The Queem believes in the slimming powers of grapefruits & never uses public transport, but uses the royal yacht, though no longer. The royals have their own special blend of coffee. It takes a long time to brew. It is brewed by the drip system w/ boiling water never touching the freshly ground grains. Fish knives/forks are never used by royals: They consider them passe/vulgar. Royalty travel with a lot of their own food. They take their own cereal. Prince Charles likes Kellog's branflakes. They eat free-range chickens, & raw, non-pasteurized milk. Only one person, outside of the Royal Family, can call Queem her childhood nickname, "Lillibet", in her presence. The Royal family prefer country life to that in the city, and love to go to 'sales of (original) work', of home-made jams, preserves, caes/biscuits. When the Queen is at Windsor, tea is always in Oak Drawing Room. It faces the quadrangle where public's allowed: The room has lost it's privacy. Although curtains would restore privacy, they do not like them, they are "non-U" or non-upper class..."Haves" & "Have Nets" (curtains).
