The Tasmania Pantry Cookbook

The Tasmania Pantry Cookbook is a full colour cookbook of 80 original recipes by multi Award Wining Tasmanian author, publisher, chef, stylist and photographer Eloise Emmett. With over 20 years of experience cooking in restaurants and kitchens around Tasmania, qualified chef and photographer Eloise has developed, photographed and styled each recipe to perfection. The Tasmania Pantry cookbook contains recipes for weeknight family meals as well as special celebration dishes - with everything in between. Recipes have been submitted to the book by Tasmanian chefs and producers so they can share how they best use their own favourite Tasmanian products in their own home kitchens. Eloise is the former chef-proprietor of her renowned Mussel Boys restaurant on the Tasman Peninsula. The original idea for The Tasmania Pantry was when Eloise realised some of the best Tasmanian Produce such as octopus, mussels, goat and wallaby is not used commonly in the home kitchen and with her passion to help people cook more with real food and teach people that cooking is actually very easy and helping people avoid processed packaged foods, for their own health benefits and the benefit of the planet. As a result, the book contains recipes for weeknight family as well as more elaborate recipes for special occasions. Eloise lives on the Tasman Peninsula with her husband and three children. She works full-time from home and her workspace in Hobart as a chef, recipe developer, food stylist and photographer, creating original recipes for leading Australian food brands and project managing the production of books for clients, as well as working on her own popular website eloiseemmett.com and her original cook books. Eloise operates a popular online store that stocks her own books, her favourite kitchen tools to make cooking easier and more enjoyable and her favourite Tasmanian products. Eloise's first book, The Real Food for Kids Cookbook, was published in 2015, her second book Seafood Everyday published in 2016 won 2 national awards at The Gourmand World cookbook awards and went on to be awarded the prestigious tittle of "best in the world" by placing third in the world in The Best Fish and Seafood category.
